As parents or guardians, you are welcome to call any time or visit your child throughout the day. We know it is hard to leave your child in the morning, and we take great efforts to make the transition back to work easier. We encourage parent participation, and in the past have always enjoyed high parent involvement with after-hours activities.

We provide the children with challenging, yet age-appropriate curriculum based on science, cooking, language, concepts and math. We teach them how to work together as a group, as well as independently in an environment created by them and for them. We allow them the structure they need, but also allowing for lots of exploration.

I am April Savage. I have always had a passion for Early Childhood Education.  I started with the company in 2006 as a toddler teacher.  Later I moved to the Dino III classroom where I prepared children for kindergarten.  My experience teaching toddlers and preschoolers has taught me how important early learning is.  Kid's Country's philosophy of creative curriculum supports my beliefs on how to meet the children's needs and teach new skills through play and social interaction.  In March of 2009, I was promoted from teacher to Program Supervisor.  I recently received my certificate in Early Childhood Education from Renton Technical College.  It is my personal goal to be a positive and helpful resource to the families, children, and staff.  I look forward to getting to know and working with all of you.
