We were established in the Burien community in 1988, as the first Kid's Country®. Since then, we have helped to pave the way for many more centers (11 in all) providing a "love, laugh, learn and grow" environment for all children.
We feel that we have the resources to keep your children in a safe, nurturing environment. We feel sure that your child is going to have a great day here with us.
Hi, my name is Kyle Bywater. I was born and raised in West Seattle. I graduated from Kennedy High School in Burien, and then moved to Bellingham to attend Western Washington University. I have a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, with a minor in Psychology. I have been involved in day camps and child care ever since. I look forward to meeting all the kids and families here in Burien. My greatest strengths are being honest, the ability to look forward, and to inspire my staff and those around me. My door is always open so feel free to stop in and say hi.
Hello, I am Dianna Llanes. I was born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa Mexico. I moved to Burien in 2005. I began my employment with KiD'S COUNTRY in June of 2009, as a teaching assistant. I was promoted to a Teacher and remained in that position until taking the Program Supervisor position. My love for the children is what makes me enjoy coming to work every day. I speak Spanish and welcome you into our center for a tour.
